BPAL: Antique Lace Nstalgia encapsulated. A soft, wistful blend of dry flowers, aged linens, and the faint breath of long-faded perfumes. I have to order a bottle of this one, my one imp is almost gone. It's fixated itself among my favorites of Beth's blends. Listen:

Eric Clapton - The Autobiography I liked this memoir well enough. Eric is honest and shows great candor in discussing his addictions and eventual hard won recovery. The bits about his childhood were interesting, and gave a bit of background that I did not know before. What was lacking though was more in depth discussion of his craft. And I felt he was a bit too arrogant in parts and a bit too detached in others. His treatment of certain people in his life was deplorable. Though he is well spoken, I felt it rambled on too much in places. But there is no doubt that he is a master musician. I liked the bio for some things and hated it for others. My Weather:

I tend to like to sometimes post surveys and quizzes that I find particularly amusing. And memes are fun. Particularly when there isn't really anything interesting to write about at that moment and I want to post. I try not to get overly annoying with the quizzes though. If I do, feel free to poke me and let me know. I tend to just be random in my posting. Nothing too heavy or overly personal, my paper journal is for that, and just for me. I may post here about news headlines that grab me, some family stuff, things I'm obsessing over at the moment, even work rants. See my LJ interests for more of my favorites and loves. Commenting is welcome, and I do allow anonymous comments. However, anonymous comments are screened and will NOT be unscreened and show up until I approve them.
