To be released the same day as Rock Band: The Beatles, 9-9-09:

The entire original Beatles catalog has been digitally remastered, and more liner notes, photos, limited edition embedded documentaries with each album, etc added.

OMG. O M G!!

On one hand, I say to myself, sensibly, 'Polly, you already OWN all this music. Why do you want to pay a crap ton of money on music you already own?' then on the other hand...

I'm kinda... oh I dunno... SQUEEING MY PANTS OFF HERE?!

I've been waiting for them to do something like this!!

Read more about this here.

NOW does this mean the stuff will be on iTunes?!

Hell with it. MUST possess this. IT WILL BE MINE.

I'm kind of torn too. I'm glad they're finally being remastered though. I probably will cave in and buy some of them early on, maybe not all. Depends on what the boxed set goes for. I still don't have all the Stones remasters after what? 10 years? I'm lazy that way. Of course, it was hard for me to justify owning the cds after owning everything (sometimes multiple times) on vinyl. LOL

I'm hoping the boxed set is priced reasonably. ARGH! OMG. LOL!

I know, I've got a bunch of the Stones remasters, but not all, it is taking me a bit with that too. Ha!

I know. I am assuming it won't be since all Beatles cds are always immediately more expensive than any others (which really pisses me off).

I've got some of the Stones remasters, but not all of them. I really need to go through what I still want. It's been forever since I even thought about it. LOL

I wouldn't pay for them on iTunes..but if the CDs are remastered, I need to buy them, as my copies are the originals from yonks ago and the sound quality on that mixing was shitty.
